Herb & Sensory Garden
The client with total sight loss yearned for a sensory herb garden filled with scent and edible produce supporting her lifestyle and expertise in aromatherapy. This garden has been transformed with the addition of aromatic herbs, scented shrubs and a chamomile lawn.
The owners of this garden had been sadly let down previously and wanted to realise their dream of a herbal garden and scented garden that they could enjoy and use for cooking. A range of shrubs, roses and climbers as well as culinary and medicinal herbs were utilised to provide a garden for sighted and non-sighted family members. These layout of the plants was especially important so that they could be located easily with different plants distinct from one another. They planting plan was designed specifically for accessibility.
It was a privilege to bring joy to the clients after their false starts and is at the heart of the Gardens by Nicole ethos of 'Gardens for Health and Happiness'
